Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the works shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the schedule of works and plans accompanying the letter dated 21 October 2003 received from the agent. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That notwithstanding the generality of condition 3 above full constructional details of the proposed new leaded window at first floor level in the end elevation facing south-west shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
