That the proposed signs by reason of their design, materials and illumination are not suitable for a country public house in a village setting and as such would detract from the character and appearance of the Warborough Conservation Area and would be likely to increase light pollution in this area.  As such the proposals are contrary to Policies Con 10 and 12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies Con 10, Con 13 and EP3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second deposit draft.
