Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That this permission shall expire after a period of 2 years from the date of first use and all associated materials shall be removed from the land prior to the expirty of this permission.
Reason: In view of the temporary nature of the development and to comply with
Policies G1, G7, C8 and C9 of the adopted South Oxfordshire
Local Plan.
Prior to the commencement of any work, full details of the proposed odour control aeration system shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The details necessary shall be; the manufacturers technical specification of the system, operational details including how the system will be switched on and off, the manufacturers recommended maintenance regime and emergency/contingency procedures in the event of unforseen circumstances or equipment malfunction. This system shall also include a mechanism to ensure that the aeration system does not operate when the wind direction is from the North-East, North or North-West. Upon completion of the approved scheme the system shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers requirements.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area and to comply with
Policies G1 and C9 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
Prior to the commencement of any work, a scheme to reduce noise from the compressor and any other air handling units shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority and the agreed scheme shall then be implemented. Equipment connected with aeration or agitation of the slurry shall not be used between 10pm and 7am on any day.
