Planning Permission on 8th August 2003
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the use hereby permitted shall be carried on only by Mr J Englefield and shall be for a limited period of 3 years from the date of this permission, or the period during which the property is occupied by Mr J Englefield whichever is the shorter. Upon the site ceasing to be occupied by Mr J Englefield or at the end of the 3 year period whichever shall first occur, the use of the building as an office shall be discontinued and all furniture, business stock and equipment brought onto the property in connection with that use shall be removed. Reason: The development hereby approved is only acceptable in this location because of the low-key nature of the use in accordance with Policy E9 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policy E7 of the First Deposit Draft South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the building shall be used for purposes as an office/workshop and for domestic purposes ancillary to the main house, and for no other purpose (including any other purpose in Class B1 or C3 of the schedule to the Town and Country Planning Use Classes Order 1987, or in any provision equivalent to that Class in any statutory instrument revoking and re-enacting that Order with or without modification). The commercial use hereby approved is confined to the building only. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policy E9 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policy E7 of the First Deposit Draft South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Any further commercial use may require further detailed consideration by the Local Planning Authority.

That the windows in the northern elevation of the shed hereby permitted shall be obscure glazed, details of which shall be submitted to and approved in writing within one month from the date of this permission and the glazing carried out in accordance with the approved detail within two months from approval of the detail and shall thereafter be retained as such. Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policies E7 and G7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 1997 and Policies E7 and EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
