Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development be carried out strictly in accordance with the particulars of the development contained in the application to seek permission for the development and the plan numbers 5010899/930/101/002/P1, 003/P1, 004/P1, 010/P1 and 012/P1 accompanying such application except as modified by conditions of this permission unless otherwise agreed by the Assistant Director (Land Use Planning) in writing. Reason: To ensure the details of the development are carried out in accordance with the application as approved.

That development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date hereof. Reason: By virtue of the provisions of Section 91 (1) (a) of the Town and Country Planning ACt, 1990.

That the extension be constructed in materials of the same type, texture and colour to match those used in the existing building. Reason: To ensure the finishes are compatible with the surrounding development.

That the land be landscaped and planted with trees and shrubs in accordance with a comprehensive planting and landscaping scheme first approved by the Assistant Director (Land Use Planning) and that trees and shrubs so planted be properly maintained and that in the event of any of the trees or shrubs dying or being seriously damaged or destroyed within a period of five years from the completion of the development a new tree or shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs as the case may be, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions as first approved by the Assistant Director (Land Use Planning). Reason: In the interests of the visual amenities of the area and to ensure the creation of a pleasant environment for the development.

That the comprehensive landscaping scheme referred to in condition 4 shall be submitted for approval within 1 month of the commencement of the development and shall be implemented in the first planting season following the first use of the approved development. Reason: To minimise delay in the implementation of the landscaping.

That the School shall prepare a School Travel Plan which is to be submitted to and approved by the Assistant Director (Land Use Planning) following consultation with the TravelWise team and must be put into operation by the start of the Spring Term 2004. Reason: In the interest of highway safety and to encourage more sustainable means of transport.
