Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to its size the proposed extension would result in a disproportionate addition to the original dwellinghouse representing inappropriate development in the Oxford Green Belt prejudicing the openness of the Oxford Green Belt contrary to provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan (Policy GB2) and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 First Deposit Draft (Policy GB2).
That having regard to its size, degree of projection and inarticulation with the original dwellinghouse the proposed extension would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the existing dwellinghouse contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, Policy H12 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 First Deposit Draft, Policy H13. In addition the proposed extension would not comply with the advice given in Section 4.6 of the approved South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
