That the design, location and materials of the proposed conservatory would result in an incongruous feature not compatible with the character of the dwelling and as such would be detrimental to its form and appearance. This would contravene Policies G1 and H12 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, Policies G1 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (First Deposit Draft) and Sections EX1 and EX2 of The South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
That the proposed conservatory would be an intrusive and alien feature in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and as such would be demonstrably harmful to its character and appearance. This would contravene Policies G1 and C2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G2 and C2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (First Deposit Draft).
