The proposed development comprises a proliferation of separate outbuildings in the curtilage of the property including the erection of a triple garage building in an intrusive location relative to the adjoining dwelling, of an inappropriate design and external appearance. The proposed development would consolidate the built up appearance of the area, detracting from the rural character and visual amenity of the locality which lies within the Chilterns AONB, contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C2, H12 and G8, and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (First Deposit Draft), particularly policies C2, H13 and G2.
