That having regard to the design details of the proposed extension and its forward projection towards the road, the proposal represents an incongruous form of extension that is out of keeping with the character of the existing building and would detract from the spacious setting of properties in this part of Crowsley Road, to the detriment of the character and appearance of the area. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1, C3 and H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
