Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the limited size of the plot and its relationship to existing surrounding development, the erection of a new dwelling would result in a cramped and intrusive form of development which would overlook adjoining dwellings, detrimental to the residential amenity of the occupiers, and be out of character with existing surrounding development. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policy H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, Policies H4, D3 and D4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, 2011, First Deposit Draft and Parts 3 and 4 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide. In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, insufficient justification exists to set aside the Policy objections to the development.
