Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to its size and height and to its inappropriate details of design, particularly the elevated eaves and dormer windows, the proposal would result in an in appropriate form of development that would be detrimental to the character and visual amenity of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In addition the proposal would be tantamount to the erection of a new dwelling in the open countryside. As such the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5, G8, H6 and C2 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (Second Deposit Draft), particularly policies G1, G2, G4, G6, C2, H6 and H13.
