Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 22nd January 2004
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposals are contrary to policies G1 and G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, and policies G2 and G6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (Second Deposit Draft September 2011). Having regard to the location of the public house in a prominent position overlooking the village green, and to the excessive bulk and size of the extension proposed, the proposals would result in an unsatisfactory form of extension that would detract from the form, character and appearance of the existing building and detract from the appearance of the building in the street scene.
