Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the application proposes the erection of a replacement dwelling outside the built-up area of Binfield Heath and the replacement would be significantly greater in volume than the existing dwelling on the site. In addition having regard to its size and bulk the proposal would be detrimental to the character and visual amenity of the area which is designated as being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Therefore the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Councils adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G3, G8, C2 and H16 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (Second Deposit Draft) particularly polices G1, G2, G4, H12 and C2.
