Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 21st October 2003
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to policies G1, G8 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, policies G2, G6 and H4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft 2003 and advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide. Having regard to the small size and awkward shape of the site and its proximity to surrounding residential properties, the proposal to erect a two storey dwelling on the site would result in a cramped form of development that would be unacceptably oppressive in the outlook from number 1 Wayside Green and be unneighbourly by virtue of loss of privacy and overlooking to the occupiers of Behoes Cottage and White Cottage.
