Decision
Telecommunications Development - Approval Refused on 30th August 2002
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed mast, ancillary equipment housing and compound, would by virtue of its height, siting on rising land and the design of the chainlink compound fencing, result in a prominent and intrusive form of development that would adversely affect the visual amenity and fail to conserve the landscape qualities and appearance of the area, which lies within an Area of Great Landscape Value. As such the proposals are considered to be contrary to policies G1, G15 and C3 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies G2, C1 and TE1 of the first deposit draft of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
