Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 23rd December 2002
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the erection of the proposed mast would result in a prominent and intrusive feature, particularly when viewed on the approach from Thame and Chinnor, and a form of development that would detract from the rural character and setting of Chinnor. As such, the proposal is contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, in particular policies G15, G1 and C6, and Policy TE1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan Deposit Draft 2011 and the intentions of Planning Policy Guidance Note 8 "Telecommunications".
