That having regard to the inadequate size of the garden areas for the dwellings on plots 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8, the proposals would provide a poor standard of residential amenity for the occupiers of those dwellings. As such the proposals would be contrary to policy H11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice as set out in Section 4.2 of the approved South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
