Decision
Planning Permission on 7th November 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That upon completion of the project or by 31 December 2018, whichever is the earlier, the carrying on of atomic energy research and development shall be terminated and all buildings, structures, materials or plant the subject of this application, shall be removed from the land which shall be left in a tidy and orderly state. Reason: To accord with the provisions of the Structure Plan for Oxfordshire and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Permission is granted in view of the very special circumstances and the granting of a general or permanent planning permission for development in this location would conflict with these policies.

That the building, structure or plant shall be solely used by the UKAEA and their partners or by an organisation of which the authority and these partners are members for the carrying on of atomic energy research and development up until 31 December 2018. Reason: To accord with the provisions of the Structure Plan for Oxfordshire and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Permission is granted in view of the very special circumstances and the granting of a general or permanent planning permission for development in this location would conflict with these policies.
