Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the materials to be used for the making good of the walls on the main house shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policies G1 and H12 of
the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof of the outbuilding shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policies G1 and H12 of
the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a pile and beam foundation shall be used for the construction of the outbuilding, a full specification of the foundations shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development on the site.
Reason: To ensure the long term health of the Yew tree in accordance with Policies G1 and
C16 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the Yew tree shall be protected during the construction works in accordance with the guidance contained in BS 5837 "Trees in relation to Construction", details of the protection scheme shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure the long term health of the Yew tree in accordance with Policies G1 and
C16 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
