The provision of a new dwelling in this location of the scale and form proposed represents an inappropriate form of development. The proposal would create a terrace of three properties in an area characterised by semi-detached dwellings in wide spacious plots, would be out of keeping with the established character of the area and would detract from the duality of design of the semi-detached pair and the visual amenities of the area. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1 and H5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
