Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That samples of the materials to be used for the garden steps, brick piers and retaining walls shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works on the site.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of this historic
building in accordance with Policies G1 and CON10 of the adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan
That no works shall commence until a full specification of the design of the external stairway, its external appearance, finish and method of attachment to the building have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of this historic
building in accordance with Policies G1 and CON10 of the adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the details accompanying the application the design details of the double door on the west elevation shall be amended in accordance with a scheme to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works on the site. Furthermore, a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all other windows, rooflights and external shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works on the site.
