Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.

That work shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors, shutters, external vents, rainwater goods and iron railings has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy Con 6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That all rooflights shall be of a conservation type details of which shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy Con 6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a full schedule of repairs to the stables and attached barn on the south side shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy Con 5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the commencement of the works arrangement shall be made for the building to be recorded by an archaeologist/building recorder or organisation with acknowledged experience in the recording of standing buildings and such record shall be in a form which is acceptable to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy Con 17 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
