Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, by virtue of their size and prominent location, the display of advertisements on the highway and on the approach road to Culham number 1 site, will result in incongruous features in a rural area that will detract from its visual amenity and would fail to accord with South Oxfordshire Local Plan policy G13.

That a proliferation of signs along the A415, which is heavily trafficked with fast moving vehicles at this point, especially those bearing advertising material could cause a distraction to drivers and would be detrimental to the safety of users of the public highway.  As such the proposal would be contrary to policy G13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
