Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 16th January 2002
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, the proposed extensions by reason of their form, scale and details of design would fail to respect the traditional character, appearance and proportions of the existing dwelling and would detract from the visual amenity of the area which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such the proposals would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies H12 and C2, and to advice contained within the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Design Guide and the Chilterns Buildings Design Guide.
