Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 25th October 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the existing gate piers and walling and the proposed gates constitute an inappropriate, intrusive and suburban feature in this isolated rural location, and is considered to be detrimental to the rural character and appearance of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such the development is contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy C2.
