Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roofs shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policies G8 and CON7 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policies G8 and CON7 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the garage doors shall be constructed with vertical dark stained timber boarding.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policies G8 and CON7 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the additional living accommodation hereby permitted shall be occupied and used only in connection with and ancillary to the occupation and use of the existing property Frieze Cottage, Crowsley, Shiplake as a single dwellinghouse, as specified in the application, and shall not be occupied or used separately therefrom.
Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable
sub-division of the property in the open countryside and would result in inadequate
standards of amenity and privacy contrary to policy H6 of the Council's adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
