Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with policy CON5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a schedule of works describing the steps and works to be undertaken and carried out under this consent shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority before works to implement this consent are begun. All works thereafter shall be in accordance with this schedule unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with policy CON5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That, prior to the commencement of any work, the details of the proposed staircase to be installed shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the staircase shall be installed in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure the details of the staircase are appropriate for the listed building in accordance with policy CON5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the commencement of any work a detailed specification of the proposed replacement windows and internal and external doors to be installed shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the doors shall be installed in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure the details of the external and internal doors are appropriate for the listed building in accordance with policy CON5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That no work shall begin until a detailed specification of the proposed finishes to all external elevations, including the render to the front elevation and lime wash to the north west elevation of number 13 Church Street, has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the external finishes used shall not be other than those approved. Reason: To ensure the details of the work are satisfactory in accordance with policy CON5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
