Decision
Planning Permission on 11th October 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That prior to development commencing on site details of the colour of wood stain to be used for the garage/store hereby approved shall be submitted to and agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority and the building shall be stained in accordance with the approved details prior to its first use.
Reason: To ensure the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
policy C2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the garage and store hereby permitted shall only be used for purposes incidental to the enjoyment of The Lodge and shall not be used for any commercial or business purpose whatsoever or to be occupied as a separate unit of accommodation.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area and to protect local amenities as a separate
unit of accommodation or business or commercial activity would represent an
undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of
amenity and privacy contrary to policies H6 and E6 of the Council's adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan.
