Description
Radio base station consisting of 1 no. antennas, 1 no. 300 mm dish antennas, 12m mono-pole mast, radio equipment housing and development ancillary thereto (as amended by drawing no.850.1 rev A and information accompanying letter from agent dated 20- May 2002).
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That prior to the commencement of development, samples of the colour finish to the mast, antenna and equipment cabin shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter, the development shall only be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To ensure the details of the development are satisfactory and to protect the
character and appearance of the locality, which lies within the Chiltern's Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with policies G15 and C2 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That within 3 months of the mast not being used for the reception or transmission of microwave radio energy it shall be removed from the site together with the antenna, equipment cabin and compound and the site shall be restored to its condition before the development took place or to a condition previously agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: In order to restore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the event of the
equipment no longer being required in accordance with policies G15 and C2 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a scheme for the landscaping of the site, including the planting of mature trees and shrubs, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of the development hereby permitted. The scheme shall be implemented as approved within 12 months of the commencement of the approved development and thereafter be maintained in accordance with the approved scheme to the complete satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. In the event of any of the trees or shrubs so planted dying or being seriously damaged or destroyed within 3 years of the completion of the development, a new tree or shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs, as the case may be, of a species first approved by the Local Planning Authority, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions first approved by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings and to protect the
character and appearance of the area, which lies within the Chilterns Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with policies G15 and C2 of the
Council's adopred South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
