Decision
Refusal of Consent to Display an Advertisement on 3rd September 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the size, position and illumination of the advertising display unit, the proposal represents a prominent, intrusive and inappropriate form of advertisement which would detract from the visual amenities of this sensitive rural location, on the edge of the village of Nettlebed which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to policies G1, G13 and C2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
