Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 22nd October 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, the proposal would involve the removal of the existing roof structure, its replacement with a higher roof and two-storey additions which, by reason of their scale, mass, form and bulk would fail to respect the attractive design, form, character and proportions of the existing dwelling, which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The extensive alterations to the dwelling would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy H12.
