Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That, notwithstanding indications given in the application, the works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and finish of the internal and external doors, the mechanical extract fans on the south elevation and external staircase has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and to accord with policy CON3 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building and to accord with policy CON1 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the external fans and grills on the west (side) elevation shall be as specified in the application and shall be painted black and thereafter maintained as such. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and to accord with policy CON4 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
