Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 3rd April 2002
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the form and design of the flat roofed extension the development would result in an inappropriate form of development that would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the building. The development would therefore be contrary to the Council's adopted polices contained in the South Oxfordshire Local Plan particularly policy H12.
That having regard to the large number of existing buildings on the site the proposed garage/store building would consolidate the built up appearance of the site to the detriment of the rural character and appearance of the locality which forms part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The development would therefore be contrary to the Council's adopted policies contained in the South Oxfordshire Local Plan particularly policies G8 and C2.
