Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 13th August 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the site lies in open countryside and the proposal would constitute isolated and sporadic development, unrelated to an existing business, which would detract from the character and visual amenities of this part of the Area of Great Landscape Value. Furthermore insufficient information accompanies the application to demonstrate an agriculture need for the structures in this location. The proposal would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5, C1, C3 and C8.
Appeal
Appeal Allowed on 11 September 2002
