Planning Permission on 15th April 2002
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

That, notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning General Permitted Development Order 195 or any order revoking or re-enacting that Order, no development shall take place under Part 2 of Schedule 2 of the Order unless a formal application in respect thereof has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To protect nature conservation interests and the character and appearance of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with Policies C2, C12, C14 and R4 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the use hereby permitted shall only take place between the hours of 8.30 am and 8.30 pm or half an hour before sunset, whichever is the earlier for a total of no more than 120 days in any calendar year. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policies G1, R4 and C2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the use shall only be for the purposes specified in the application and as clarified and described in the Agent's letters dated 30 May 2001 and 1 February 2002. Reason: In the interests of clarity and to ensure that the impact of the use on the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and nature conservation interests is minimised in accordance with Policies C2, C12, C14 and R4 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That, prior to the first use of the access track running from Lilley Farm along bridlepaths 14 and 16 to the existing car park by participants of the recreational games, details of the proposed improvements and upgrading of the track shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the work shall not be carried out other than in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure that the upgrading of the track does not detract from the character and appearance of this part of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with Policies G1, R4 and C2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
