Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That particularly having regard to their prominent location within the Conservation Area and the materials used in their construction, the retention of the fencing and shed would be intrusive and out of keeping with the rural character and charm of the locality and as such, the development is detrimental to the rural character and attractive appearance of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Shirburn Conservation Area.  Therefore the development is contrary to the provisions of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies CON8, CON10, C1 and C2.
