Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 25th July 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the location of the access point, adjoining the B4009, the proposal if permitted would result in the creation of a substandard access lacking adequate visibility in close proximity to a bend and road junction. The proposal fails to provide adequate turning space in order for vehicles to enter and leave in a forward gear. It is therefore considered to be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the highway, and is contrary to the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G10 and T10.
Appeal
