Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th May 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed stable building, by reason of its siting, scale, mass and bulk, the associated earthworks and menage, would represent a prominent and visually intrusive form of development that would consolidate and extend the built-up appearance of the site to the detriment of the natural beauty and special landscape qualities of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposals would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C2 and R10.
