Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 4th April 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the prominent position of the garage forward of the main dwelling and to its excessive size and bulk the proposal would result in a more intrusive form of development which would add to the amount of built development on the site and would be detrimental to the character and visual amenity of the area which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Therefore the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies H5 and C2.
