Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 2nd May 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the siting, size, design, shape and scale of the carport, the development would be over-dominant and would detract from the character of the existing dwelling. Furthermore, the location of the carport results in a prominent and intrusive form of development that detracts from the visual amenities of the street scene. The development is therefore considered to be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8 and H12.
