That having regard to its size and bulk and the restricted size of the site the proposed dwelling would result in an intrusive form of development which would appear incongruous in the streetscene and would detract from the character and visual amenity of the area which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies H5, G8 and C2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
