Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory and to accord with
policies C2 and G8 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority the building hereby permitted shall be used for the stabling of horses for the personal enjoyment of occupiers of Rivendell Farm and the building shall not be used in connection with any trade or business.
Reason: To accord with policy R10 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to the commencement of the development the existing buildings (shown as 1, 2 and 3 on plan no. 01/JT/1219.2) shall be demolished and all the materials therefrom shall be removed from the land.
Reason: To enhance the character and appearance of the area, to ensure that the area of the
site covered by buildings is not increased and to accord with policy C2 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
