Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the works hereby permitted, including a sample panel of the flintwork, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the work is commenced. Thereafter, the works shall only be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the building in accordance with policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the commencement of works hereby permitted large-scale plans and sections of the eaves detailing shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter, the work shall only be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the building in accordance with policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter, the work shall only be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the building in accordance with policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
