Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the roof shall be covered with natural slate a sample of which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy G8 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the first floor windows on the side (south) elevation shall be fitted with obscure glass and fixed closed, apart from a top opening light in each window, and shall be so retained and maintained.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy H12 of
the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows shall be constructed above ground floor in the side (south) and rear (east) elevations of the new dwelling other than those expressly authorised by this permission.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy H12 of
the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of, and Class A of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking or re-enacting that Order), no development within Class A of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Order shall be carried out on the land unless planning permission has first been granted by the Local Planning Authority on a formal application in respect thereof.
Reason: To protect local amenities in accordance with Policies G8 and GB2 of the Council's
adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
