Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
Notwithstanding the details accompanying the application, samples of the materials to be used for the roof shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy G8 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That within three months of the commencement of the development, those sections of the existing building shown on the submitted plans to be demolished, shall be demolished.
Reason: To accord with the policy of the Local Planning Authority in accordance with
Policy GB2 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the first floor windows on the side (south) elevation shall be fitted with obscure glass and fixed closed, apart from a top opening light in each window, and shall be so retained and maintained.
Reason: To ensure the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy H12 of
the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows shall be constructed above ground floor in the side (south) elevation of the extension other than those expressly authorised by this permission.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with
Policy H12 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
