Decision
Refusal of Conservation Area Consent on 26th September 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the boundary wall is a prominently located and attractive feature which contributes positively to the streetscene in this part of the Garsington Conservation Area. As such, the removal of a significant section of the wall to facilitate a vehicular access to the property is detrimental to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and contrary to policies G1, CON8 and CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
