That the proposals are contrary to policies H12 and G8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and to the Council's Design Guide.  The proposals to substantially increase the height of the walls and roof of the dwelling would result in a form of development that would be out of keeping with adjoining dwellings and would detract from the rural character of the area.
