That notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of, and Classes A, B, C and E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking or re-enacting that Order), no development within Classes A, B, C or E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Order shall be carried out on the land unless planning permission has first been granted by the Local Planning Authority on a formal application in respect therefor. Reason: To ensure that the site does not become overdeveloped and thereby detrimental to the character and appearance of the Wheatley Conservation Area (in accordance with policies G1, G5, CON10 and H12 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan).
