That the proposed extension would be contrary to policy H12 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to the proximity of the existing garage and the proposed extension relative to the highway, the extension would appear prominent and overbearing in the streetscene which would result in a cramped form of development.
The lack of sufficient off street car parking spaces would result in vehicles parked on the highway which would be detrimental to safety and convenience of other highway users contrary to policy G10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
