That the proposal would be contrary to policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide. Having regard to its inappropriate detailing and awkward roof form, it is considered that the proposed extension would not relate well to the existing dwelling and would appear intrusive and out of keeping in the street scene detracting from the traditional character of the existing dwelling.
